about

This track is expressing the feeling of brain rot that one can get from staring into the many voids available to us these days. The deterioration of the character in this song reflects the sheer exhaustion I feel from hearing a million voices and opinions I was never meant to hear on a daily basis, mirroring it with the imagery of Phineas Gage who, after the blunt force trauma of a rail rod going through his head, ultimately survives but is forever changed due to the impacts on his brain and mind.

lyrics

Limbic system fails and mumbles
Phineas gauges five o clock shave

Brain dead and buried
Rot is scary
You are scary
Sorry for staring
Make up my mind
Are you caring
Care not for what
I taste

Limbic buiscuit buried crumble
Phineas gauges five o clock shave

Blood in my eyes
Silent screaming
Ice pick for mind
Cherry picking
Pick for purpose
Engineering
Softly spoken
So many

Fingers missing sherry stumble
Phineas gauges five o clock shave

Get out of my head
Not enough room
Get off of my bed
Out my bedroom
Staring at me
Staring at you
Staring

Phineas gauges 5 o clock shave
