Having friends in high places seems to get you anywhere, and that certainly isn’t a new thing. I wanted to take this idea to the hyperbolic limit, where kids and their innocence are allowed to be exploited by the rich and those of high social standing, just because they’re friends with or have dirt on someone. I think the recent cases of Epstein and the far reaching ramifications and list of names involved (that seem to not have been acted on with appropriate vigour) lead me to lines like “It makes a lot of sense to see predators break in when the leaders of the people have them paying for their rent”.
