about

This track was the lynchpin of the record. The finishing touch that forever seemed unfinished. I couldn’t release this record without it, yet I never found the words to express what I wanted to say. This is the summary of the record, hence it being the namesake. I wanted to start difficult conversations, and make people think uncomfortable things in order to get them to think “now wait a minute, what do we actually do about all this?” Inaction is rife these days, with apathy seeming to take hold due to the sheer volume of issues we face. However “the man” will ultimately end up talking themselves into a corner, sealing their doom with their ceaseless bloviating and ultimately doing it to themselves. This isn’t to promote inaction, merely to be perceptive of the right time to exploit those that have exploited us for far too long.

lyrics

How to kill a man he does it to himself
Tell a lie today you owe it to yourself
Point another paw you’ll curl it on itself
It takes a big bad man to put the blame on someone else

Now doesn’t that just hit the spot
Does it make you pop and lock
Needle sharp make you stop
Weapon load weapon shot
Meddle muddy mister mop
Sanguine squishy bellow stop
Feel so pretty
Feeling stops
Sentence stop
Screaming stop
Holy hell
Eldritch god
Make it swell
Do as tell
Tell your friends
Bring them too
Let them join
One with you in
One with sun
One makes do
Make it fast
Make it true
Make it love
Love it makes
Make it stop
What’s stopping you

How to kill a man he does it to himself
Tell a lie today you owe it to yourself
Point another paw you’ll curl it on itself
It takes a big bad man to put the blame on someone else

Power corrupts
Power obeys
The Power untested
The Power remains
Where do we go
Watery graves
Power decives
The Powerul pray

Youre Making me nervous
Making it seem sane
Road tar vultures
And theyre Driving away
Powerful engine
Pitiful strain
The Power repented
A Powerful shame

Perimus lictis
A terrible weight
Sysophean struggle
Ascending to fate
Powerful pushing
For anothers sake
Forsaking the burden
To anothers place

Power to people
The People to fame
People corrupted
repeating the fate
I think we’re alone now
I think that it’s safe
One and another
One will betray

Crab in a bucket
Clawing away
Pull you in closer
Blow you away
Kiloton Crumble
Radio waves
Radio waves back
The Ground will shake

Second sun
Setting in place
Sorrowful winter
Sorrowful shame
Nothing to lose now
Nothing to gain
Sorry for nothing
Always the same
